My current church sign reads like this. Church is not the answer - Jesus is!
A lot of people come to church because they think that church is the answer to their problems. Church is only the place where one should be able to find the true answer to their problems. Jesus is the answer to our deepest problem and He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all I can think or do according to the power that works in me.

New Church Sign for April 13 - 18
Misfits Fit in Here
He Came for those that have problems and the misstreated and the misfits of life.
Luke 4:16And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
17And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
18The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
20And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
21And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears

The New Church Sign
My new church sign reads:
The Cross is God's Idea
The cross is a non removable part of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. To remove the cross is to remove what God has done through the cross and what is happening now in our lives because of the cross. It was and is God's idea in the first place. To deny the cross is to deny God's way of salvation for those who believe.
1 Corinthians 1:13 - 25 (NIV) 13Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized into£ the name of Paul? 14I am thankful that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius, 15so no one can say that you were baptized into my name. 16(Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I don’t remember if I baptized anyone else.) 17For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power. 18For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”£ 20Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 22Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, 23but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength.
